ServeNebraska encourages community-based non-profit organizations and public entities with strong experience in successfully implementing well-developed program designs addressing critical needs in: Disaster Services, Economic Opportunity, Education, Environmental Stewardship, Healthy Futures, and Veterans and Families to consider applying for AmeriCorps support. Application Deadline: December 31, 2018.

This enables a AmeriCorps member’s personal and professional growth while providing satisfaction in knowing they’ve improved their community and brought about positive change,” states Cathleen Plager, Executive Director.
Fiscal Grant Administrator, Audrey Jackson, shares, “AmeriCorps funding is segmented into two categories of Competitive AmeriCorps which are for projects with significant national service experience and scale and the Formula AmeriCorps which supports a wider array of program sizes and models.”
